"OH MY GOD." Lucy eyeballed Sarah, after listening to her go on and on about Ezra. "You are serious, about him."

Sarah was over with a few girly items for Lux. She was afraid Lux might out grow the outfits by Christmas.

"No." Sarah winced hard. She went to dig in the fruit bowl on the counter and found an apple. "We're just friends."

"So you say..but..." Lucy was smiling as if Sarah had it bad for Ezra.

"Look, I'm not going to make anything complicated for him." Sarah informed her.

"Really?" Lucy almost winked when she smiled.

"Yeah, like we're gonna run away and have sex on the beach...all weekend long. Don't think so." Sarah patted her pregnant stomach then.

"It could happen." Lucy smiled as if some people did do things like that, even being pregnant.

Sarah smirked with a lopsided grin. "I would be happy if..if he just made out with me." She felt close to tears. A part of her wanted more than just a friend with Ezra, but he didn't look like the type who'd give in to that sort of things. "He's such an intellectual."

"Oh, I know." Lucy rolled her eyes at that. She went to grab Lux out of her swing. "But if you want, we could all have dinner together."

Sarah nodded as if she would be up for that.

"My Mom could keep Lux." Sarah smiled. "A dinner and a movie. That's what we need."
