"You know, I'm there for you, don't you?" Ka-Rad was uber-serious as he cleaned the makeup off Spencer's face in the bathroom. Of course, Spencer almost laughed at the sight of those dog ear pony tails of Ka-Rad's on each side of his head. It was as if he was trying to look like Lucy, but he was rather horrid at it.

Spencer nodded.

"You are pretty when you're not even trying." Ka-Rad smiled. "You'd look a hell of lot better in this than me. But I love the way if feels. I do. I can't help it."

Spencer guessed he understood. Maybe.

Ka-Rad kissed him then. It was as if he was a feeding frenzy of some kind. They just couldn't get enough of each other.

"I won't let him hurt you, I won't. " He whispered in Spencer's ear.

"I know." Spencer nodded, looking up at Ka-Rad. He felt Ka-Rad's fingers around his face. It was so startling yet genuinely amazing.

"We're besties, right?" Ka-Rad winced. Spencer was pushed up against the counter. He could see Ka-Rad's reflection perfectly.

"Uh-huh." Spencer nodded, but it felt like more. It did. It had to be more than what Ka-Rad said. But he'd have to touch some place for sure. And he was, but Casey was outside the bathroom door, banging on it as if there might be a bomb about to go off.
