OK. Possibly Ka-Rad had gotten a bit carried away with the nail polish. The glittery eye shadow and eye-liner. But no one had ever done that for Spencer. Brought out that side of him.
The kiss was only an accident. Spencer hadn't meant too. Really, he'd never kissed anyone in his 19 years except his mom and grandmother. That really didn't count. No, it was going to be a slight kiss. Barely full mouth, but Ka-Rad had kissed him back with tongue. More tongue happened. And they kissed about an hour, before Spencer was certain he should be home. The guys were coming over. Soon. He always liked to get ready early. He needed to have drinks and snacks.
He felt like a fool.
"Sorry." Spencer bit back. Knowing this would only mean trouble.
"You shouldn't be." Ka-Rad told him. "Could I come over?"
Spencer explained it wasn't right now, but later.
"Oh." Ka-Rad wanted to go back to kissing, but Spencer was afraid too. He'd let it go on, far to long. And now, it was all he could think of as he laid in bed, dreaming of Ka-Rad instead of Benny.
How had that happened? He was so mad at himself. Truly, it was wrong. He'd been totally devoted to Benny for years, but it had gone no where. Spend the afternoon with Ka-Rad, and he wanted to do everything with him. Everything.
He put on the dark eyeshadow Ka-Rad had given him then and painted himself up the best he could. He wouldn't totally transform. Just a little. Girls really did like to have fun.
