Happy now

Todd couldn't have been more pleased with the opening. They'd had an overwhelming crowd for the show. If that wasn't enough, Lucy sexed him up way before the doors open. Needless to say, it was all amazing.

People loved the band. Loved the place. Countless folks booked him up the whole month for appointments. It was going so well.

Ali sang her heart out. She was so pretty and her voice just got better and stronger with each song. Then Casey showed up. He had to get in on a set of songs. He played for all his old fans. It was really a rock'n show.

And then Cory arrived to everyone's surprise. He gave them a show, as well. The music kept coming. People danced. That bought lots of the Freaknoid T-shirts and plastic bracelets that Lucy had kept. It really did ring up success. Even at the cash register.

"We should do this every weekend." Lucy was just as giddy. Sarah stayed with the baby. It was their night.

Afterwards, they made love instead of cleaning up. It really felt like some other place. Not where they lived.

"Do you think we're off to a good start?" He really still felt like a little lamb of some kind, not aware of the downfall of having his own business.

"Yes!" Lucy was passionate about it. All giddy and mad about him. His brain might as well have been melted on the stage somewhere. And to think, neither were on drugs.

"What's happened to us?" He squinted hard. There in bed.Why was he even questioning it? This was the start of something fantastic. He just couldn't let himself think what was next. Clearly, this was their love, awake and happening that made rainbows possible.
