just around the corner

Casey didn't mean to make a fuss about it, but what was so hard about getting married. He did it. Anybody could.

"Oh, and you didn't have your anxieties." Sarah looked at him as he was not fessing up to his entire marriage with Nina. After all, she had him taking college classes now. At least he'd be a certified electrician soon. Of course, they both knew Tina was hoping he'd go into computer programing or something not so bland.

"Well.." He didn't want to talk about it. That was history. He was a father now. Things were very good these days. Even Nina was rather normal. Besides, they lived close now to Sarah and Ezra, he couldn't help but know what was going on with them. "You should be nicer to him."

"I am nice." Sarah looked as if she might slap him on the back of the head.

"You know, what I mean. He needs to be appreciated. You can't deny, he's a pretty special guy who loves you and baby Jake too." Casey reminded her.

Sarah only shrugged. She needed to do something with the ground meat she was thawing out. At the moment she could get supper started, but she'd have to pick up Ezra from the church in thirty minutes.

"We've decided on the wedding." She told him when it was, and hoped he could be there.

"You haven't told Todd about this?" Casey winced. He knew if Todd had anything to do with this, he'd make a party out of.

Casey shoved his hand in his pockets further. He wasn't so sure he wanted the band to get together. He was pretty rusty at the moment. It had been quite a while since he'd picked up a guitar. But he knew if Todd called him, he'd have to be there for the band.

I like how they are growing up with kids. I think that happens to a lot of bands.
