"So, what made you decide?" Spencer was all ears. This was good news. Manny moving in with Em.

He met up with Em at the cafe after work.

"I dunno." She smiled so coy.

"I bet it was the sex." Spencer beamed.

Of course, it was awkward. The waitress was trying to take their order. But he went on with his questions after she left.

"No, it was not the sex." She insisted, but he didn't believe her, because frankly, to him, it had to be the sex.

"Its definitely the sex with Bucky." Spencer confessed. He couldn't help it. He felt as if he were on cloud nine and there was nothing Bucky could do wrong.

Em wiggled a little smile.

"Its..it is really..really new..to have someone around." Em nodded. "He doesn't really have a lot of stuff, but I know he misses Angie."

"Do you think you have to compete with her?" Spencer said ever so carefully as he stirred at his iced tea and then sipped it through a straw. He finally took off his cool fedora. He was wearing his Cabana shirt. No way did he want winter to get the best of him. He wanted to be in his happy colors of sharp blues.

"She's only three." Em smiled. "But she's seriously a big part of his life. He's raised her."

Finally, the daily special arrived of meatloaf and mashed potatoes with green beans on the side. The plate was swallowed in brown gravy.

"I feel so bad for him. I didn't want her to have to give him up, you know." Em told him as she played with her mashed potatoes with  her fork.

"You seriously, don't think that's true, do you?" Spencer felt as if he were coming down from his high. He did miss Sarah's little Jake. Deep down, he really wanted a child of his own. He really hadn't felt this since being with Bucky.

The problem was, he just couldn't see Bucky wanting to be a Dad. In fact, Bucky didn't really want to grow up. A part of Spencer felt he was raising Bucky, and at the moment he was possibly the worst parent ever.
