Casey missed two days of work, before he decided what to do. He atleast called the school to tell them he was alive. As it was they didn't ask a note from the doctor, thank God.
Still he felt like he was in a daze. It just didn't seem real. Why did the most ridiculous things happen on Valentines Day. Didn't help that Nina kept singing, "Put a ring on it..."
He guessed he'd wait and see if it would really last. She had a house. Of course, at the moment, he wondered if she'd just wanted somebody to mow the lawn or fix the toilet. She had a big list. He was still scratching the back of his neck on this one.
"YOU GOT MARRIED!" Cory looked at him as if he were insane. Of course, he was late for the jam session.
"Yes, it looks that way." He had the paperwork to prove it and a cheap wedding band.
Benny and Spencer had a good laugh over it.
"Were you drunk?" Spencer wanted to know.
"Maybe." He shrugged.
"Drugs were probably involved too." Cory winced back as Spencer who kept smiling.
"Just shut up. No, there wasn't." Casey gave them an angry look.
"So just when is this nightmare going to be over?" Cory glared at him.
"You're one to talk. Just look at you? You've...got...Ali." Of course, he didn't realise Ali was right behind him, bringing down some cupcakes from the kitchen.
Casey's smirk didn't last long when she gave him an almost evil look. Casey hugged himself thinking this just might be a competition of some kind now.
"At least, Nina and I aren't living in sin, and a big- well, you two are liars. Lying to your grandma." Casey informed him.
Cory had nothing to say to that. Casey gritted a smile. He'd show them how this was done. He was a husband now.
