"Well, don't make me sound like a sex therapist!" Lucy sputtered about her moment in time with Gage.

Sarah sighed with laugh. "You really are something."

"No, I'm not." Lucy winced, but she couldn't stop talking about her kiss with Gage. "I'm not. Its not like that, in any way. It'll never happen again."

"It better not." Sarah got out what was left of the baby bottles in the fridge. "You've got Todd. You always wanted him, you know."

"No..I didn't." Lucy looked at Sarah wide eyed with her hands on her hips. But it was easy to see Lucy was the metal that wanted to stick to Todd like a magnet. Always.

"I think you did. You went way out of your way to get him." Sarah reminded her.

Lucy packed the diaper bag quickly, as if she didn't want to think of herself as being a wee bit evil about her pursuit of Todd.

"I love him. I do." Lucy promised.

"Things are good, right?" Sarah wanted to know. Lucy nodded.

"You think I've deprived him, don't you?" Lucy looked hurt.

"Hey, don't even go there. You two have a family. And you have to make the most of each day. Don't even think of dwelling on the past." Sarah knew it was easier said than done.

"I know. I want us to stay happy. We are happy, Sarah." Lucy told her.

"I believe you." Sarah smiled. "And Lux has both of you."

Lucy nodded, as if she needed to hear it, to believe it true.
