Todd was trying to find ways to get back to where he and Lucy were suppose to be. But it was like taking a bad medicine that drained him, even if he knew he should expect everything to be fine.
He found some snapshots in Lucy's things. Pictures of the two of them before he ever imagined he'd be with Lucy, like this. They were once... friends.
"I should frame this one." Lucy smiled going through the box of pictures with him.
"I'm in dredlocks. I don't think so." Yes, it was a picture, quite silly indeed. He always did make a lot of faces when Lucy took photos of him.
"But its so funny." She laughed. Todd couldn't. There wasn't much funny, anymore. He remained even lipped, thinking of the shop. Things that needed to be done.
She dug deeper into the shoe box and saw the photos from a past Halloween.
"We should have a Halloween bash." She shrugged.
Todd winced, not knowing if that was a good idea.
"Come on, last time was great." She reminded him, giving him a squeeze on the shoulder as he turned from her. "The band played. It was stealer. People, would love it."
"I dunno." Todd wasn't sure he was up to it. "I dunno if the band is even together."
"You know you want too." Her toothy grin was infectious.
"All right." He sighed. He'd have to make a few phone calls. Perhaps this could be an enterprising event if they charged five bucks at the door.
