like a flashback

So much for having his own room. The bed was tiny for the two of them, but every bit of warmth was worth it. Trevor knew Fergie was pretty happy with herself, too.

As beautiful as the old house was outside, it might as well have been a tent. Were the walls made of paper? Not that he was going to dwell on Fergie's thought they should have sex. He wanted to focus on the furnace. It was on his mind all day at school. Although, little slips of Fergie getting the best of him, mingled in his mind ever so often. He just needed to focus more.

"Remember, you haven't been on the pill, that long." Somebody had to remember that. She wasn't. That smirk of her's irritated him a little. He knew they should not go there. They both had homework to catch up on. And his limbs were still tired from the move. Although, it had been fun painting rooms with her. Only she didn't want to be in her room. And she was suppose to be there.

She had her own princess white desk with her trusty laptop that Benny and Keith got for her. But Sage didn't have wi-fi yet, so guess who got to entertain Fergie?

Sure, she'd sneaked into his room and it was kind of fun. OK, it was massive fun and rather intoxicating. He didn't want to get in trouble with Sage, over it.

"We could use a condom." She reminded him as they got in the old truck to drive home from school.

"Yeah, and that worked so well, before." He shot back. OK, they didn't always use a condom. Most times, they did. "All right I'll think about it." It wasn't easy being good, but he needed a little help from Fergie. A part of him thought maybe she wanted another baby. Was that what this sex stuff was really about?

They were home soon enough. He found Sage in her pastel plaid flannel pajamas, nursing a cup of  Remen Top noodles on the couch.

"You're sick?" Trevor was startled. His sister never got sick.

"Sort of." Her hair was wet, and she was in her bunny slippers.

"We're pregnant!" Gage was all giddy as he plopped himself next to her with his arm around her.

"Well...actually..its.." She looked over at Gage but then she gritted a smile.

"Huh.." He looked over at Fergie. Yes, they'd definitely met their quota for pregnancies in the household for this year and next.
