Noah and Connor

Noah wasn't really expecting to see Keith nor Benny at the party. But River and Declan were there too. Of course, he wasn't going to say hello. They were not friends. What would be the point?

Honestly, it was best to not let anyone know he was with Connor.

At first he was eager to introduce him around. Yet, he kind of liked having Connor all to himself. They'd met in the art building. Connor was a young artist too. Actually, just a Freshman at the University. Of course, his art needed so much more diversity, but Noah wouldn't hinder Connor on the subject.

Instead, Connor's smile was so playful. His conversations were so animated. Noah couldn't help, but to be caught up in them. And there was the fact that Connor adored his wisdom. He enjoyed Connor's company and Noah was happy not to be alone again.

He tried not to think he might be in a rut with his relationships. It was best to be oblivious to it. How could one give a relationship the opportunity to find its own destiny, if he dwelled on such thinking.

Seriously, he didn't care what any of Spencer's friends might be thinking. He didn't give a damn what River might say.

Thanksgiving was a day where they made pies. As if, they could make it some art form.

Of course, Connor was silly and they got into a flour fight. Seriously, Noah was looking plenty like an old man with his dreds by Thanksgiving dinner. Still, they'd had a good laugh. Connor ate most of the meal with his fingers. Noah joined in.

Really, he was thankful to be with Connor. Noah felt as if this was a new chapter in his life. And somehow, it was best to sit back and enjoy it. Savor each second, hoping this was the start of the best holidays ever.
