impending plans

"This has to be done before Christmas." Todd hoped he'd settled this with Spencer about Ezra and Sarah's wedding. Spence kept coming up with more ideas of how to change things around, as if their little stage down at the shop could be transformed into a Broadway show.

"I'll just have to get busy." Spencer shrugged.

"When? When can you do any of this stuff?" Todd stared at him that he was wanting too much. The more simple they could make this, the better it would be for everyone. "We don't have the time nor the money. Must you forget?"

Todd didn't mean to make Spencer fume over its spectacular vision.

"Just save it for your own damn ceremony." Todd couldn't help to say. "They don't want to make a big deal, about it."

Spencer nodded, but he was still thinking as if there needed to be a surprise ending. Like doves flying from a mysterious trapped door.

"Why did you even ask me to help?" Spencer looked at him as if Todd was the crazy one now.

"Because, we're all worried about you. You, took up with a bartender, for god's sakes. And he's not even bartending. You're stuck, and you know it." Todd simplified it for him.

"I'm not stuck." Spencer looked at him as if he were mad to even say a bad thing about his boyfriend. "I love him. I won't listen to you, bad mouth him. He just needs to take a break, that's all. His back is a little out of whack."

"And who's fault is that?" Todd glared.

"Ha! You're, just jealous." Spencer scowled as if he'd came to get in a dance off or some sort of tiff.

"Think what ever you want. Tell yourself your happy. But are you really..really happy with this out of work gigolo?" Todd laid it on the line. After all, he'd googled this Bucky. There might be a few things Spencer needed to know, but he stomped off in his bright blue Converses.

"Well, that was brilliant." Lucy came out from behind the back stage door which gave way to the storage room.

"He didn't even give me a chance." Todd winced.

"Well, you have to approach this differently, babe." She pursed her lips. "We may all have to embrace this Bucky. At the moment, it looks like you might be Spencer's jilted lover. After all, you two had a thing. I doubt he's forgot it."

Wow, a little rough of a conversation. They need a do-over.
