Ali was glad Christmas was over, along with the wedding, too.

Of course, it had been the four of them to celebrate with Angie. After all, she was the center of attention. Manny and Em looked happy together. Evidently, things were working out.

A smile came to her, thinking maybe someone was pregnant, or would be soon. She shook the thought, but she thought it would be nice, if Em were. No way, would Ali ever want to have another baby. Of course, she didn't even know she was pregnant with Angie until very late in her pregnancy. Hopefully, she wasn't scaring herself now. The thought of having another baby.

She kept at the vacuuming as if to clear her mind. She was sure Em would be mortified if she even mentioned the word baby.

Cory came in, from snowblowing the driveway. He was in his thermal coveralls and was slowly getting out of his snow boots in the kitchen.

"You know, what I was thinking," Cory said from the kitchen.

"I have no idea what you might be thinking." She knew he was wanting her to make bean soup from the left over ham.

"I just can't see Todd and Lucy letting Craig stay with them." He shrugged as he took off one soggy sock then the other. "And he was never really a big fan of Spencer's."

"Do you even know Craig?" Ali winced.

"Not really," he said. "But..you know, since..since no one is in the basement anymore, maybe he could stay there, for a while. You know, just temporary."

"I guess." But she really didn't want to feed another mouth. "He'd probably want his own place." She blew a breath. She supposed she couldn't stop Cory from talking to Todd and Lucy about it. Seriously, she thought Craig was an arrogant ass. No way, any baby was going to change him.

Just the thought of him, being here, made her think she better go on a diet. She knew what he'd think when he looked at her, a disgusting cow.

 Hopefully, he'd say no. She prayed a little silent prayer to herself as she went back to her vacuuming, that Craig would not want to move into the basement.
