"We haven't even had a baby shower for her," Em was on the phone with Declan. She figured he'd want to be a part of Sage's homecoming with the new baby.

Suddenly, she felt as if she were family even if she exactly wasn't. After all, she was with Gage's brother, Manny.

 Of course, she didn't know Declan, but she knew Declan worked with Sage when she was at the grocery store. Em remembered. In all honesty, she imagined they were a young married couple. But that was so long ago.

"I could pick something up from the deli. Like a cake, if you want." Declan offered. Perhaps, it was best to do the celebrating at Sage and Gage's place.
