Benny beat the hell out of those drums. Of course, someone else was on his mind. And it wasn't music. It wasn't what he was suppose to be thinking about. There was just one person he couldn't get out of his system.

Ka-Rad.

What sort of fucking name was that?

He didn't want to think about him. But he loved his hair. The way he stood. His laugh. He had wonderful teeth and one incredible bum. Of course, Benny hadn't exactly met him. Lucy had brought him by one night to tell them, she'd found someone who could do their hair free. Ka-Rad was Lucy's friend. She said he was like a big brother to her. Lucy had met him when she swept the floor and answered the phone at Great Clips. Naturally, he hadn't lasted there long. He was after all, a real hairstylist and now worked for some old vampire looking dude down in the old market.

Benny had checked these things out with Spence one afternoon. Benny was sure the old dude was totally infatuated with Ka-Rad. And he had a feeling that perhaps Ka-Rad had been taken with the salon owner too. Possibly, a real couple. Which made Benny sick to his stomach. He hadn't told any of this to anyone.

Spence was possibly the only one who knew, but he was keeping to himself, lately. Of course, Spence was like that. No one really knew Spence. And Benny definitely wasn't going to bring it up. At least he had someone to do things with. They generally played video games together. Yet, Benny didn't feel like doing much of anything now. Ka-Rad was the only one on his mind.
