Cory was a little jealous. Ka-Rad had taken Lucy home. At least now she was with him down at the shop where he worked on computers.

"He's like a big brother." She told him. She'd brought him dinner from the deli. Two sandwiches and home fries.

"I know." He understood, but she'd slept with him. Something could have happened. What if she didn't even know? She was a little drunk Friday night. It was Monday now and the week just meant more to do at the shop. "How are you feeling?"

"OK." She nodded as she watched him unwrap the sandwich and began to eat.

"You are hungry, aren't you?" He waited for her to take a bite. He was worried something had upset her.

"Of course, I am." She smiled. She bit into a fry as if to show him she could eat. So he started to eat too. Once they'd gone out for fried chicken he so wanted to eat, but she wouldn't so he hadn't eaten, either. "I just wonder if -if Sarah knows anything for sure about, you know. Cameron. She wants you guys to be her opening act."

"Really?" Cory found that hard to believe. He'd be down in Spencer's basement tonight, practicing. They had a gig planned on Thursday night for a wedding. Casey had a playlist of wedding songs to remember, like love songs. He hated shit like that, but thats how they got paid, most times. Cory just nodded. Maybe they were making progress.
