word

"Christ, I dunno what to do." Cory knew he must really be pathetic if he were going to Casey to ask what to do.

"I call her.  I leave her messages." He shook his head. "Nothing."

"Did you go by, to see Lucy?" Casey glared at him while he watched Cory fix something on his computer before it crashed.

"No. I'm afraid she doesn't want to see me. But it was nothing, you know. I dunno. She's so sensitive, you know. I have to learn to keep my mouth shut." Cory decided.

"She's complicated." Casey hugged himself.

"You don't think she'd be, you know, screwing around with the K-dude, do you?" Cory looked back at him.

"Lucy? No way. She's holding out, you know. She's not like the skanks you meet at concerts. For one thing, she's not a whore. Straight edge even." Casey was sure of it.

"Good to know." Cory nodded. He finally smiled. Casey did too. He didn't know what Cory did to the old HP but it was working faster than ever now.
