"So what is it exactly? That you're trying to tell me?" Casey could see Cory was possibly upset. He wasn't his usual sure self. The one who told him he was off key or that that was definitely not the right lyric.
Casey was standing barefoot in the doorway of his place. He'd had a rather somber holiday. He slept through most of it, and he vaguely remembered sleeping with someone. Huh, he caught himself thinking. He'd fucked that reporter. Well, that was his Christmas and Happy New Year all in one. It was OK.
"I think Ali might have drugged me." Cory finally told him.
"What?" Casey laughed. He went to pour Cory some coffee that he would not take so Casey drank it, himself. "That sounds so devious." Casey just grinned. "You, sure you just didn't get drunk and take advantage of her?"
"But." Cory gave him a dead stare. "I wouldn't. I mean, I know Lucy and I have our problems, but I wouldn't cheat on her. I-I wouldn't."
"Cory? Don't you know that boat has sailed? You and Lucy are finished. She's with Ka-Rad now." Casey informed him.
"God, I would not have done this. I wouldn't have." Cory festered his lips in a painful frown.
"Why? Because she's fat. You got something against fat girls?" Casey said a bit threatening. He couldn't help it. This just might be his chance to pawn her off on Cory.
