the power that is

"Wow..just wow.." Casey couldn't think of anymore to stay about Nina's new job. For starters she wasn't the girl he met with the pink, who never wore a bra. No, this was serious Nina, now, with those heavy dark rimmed glasses.

She was just a reporter in the field, usually, out in the cold. Possibly finding anyone on the street to interview. But at least it was the local TV station. He was proud of her. Even when he looked at her, he wasn't quite sure who she was. Maybe he never knew the real Nina.

Perhaps his whole life had been made up. But then again, he wasn't a real go-getter..now was he? He knew he was a failure to her family. Just think what a failure he'd be if his Dad knew...it was hard to stomach. How was he going to get out of this mess?

Well, she was all hugs and trying to get him out of his shirt, right there in the living-room.

"Hey..hey..." He tried his best to push her away. But then again. She always won, somehow. "We..we should celebrate."

"We are?" She smiled as if she knew exactly what he wanted. Now.

"But ist four in the afternoon." Casey winced.

"Well, it never stopped you before." She reminded him. Yes, he did like sex at four o'clock in the afternoon. He'd get home sweaty from work..and shower sex.

"Right." Casey just grinned. "But you should really call your parents. Tell them the news. About the job." He sputtered as he backed away, but she jerked the T-shirt over his head, anyway, leaving his hair practically on ends.

"I can do that later." Again, her mouth coming toward him, ready for more to come.

Casey was between a rock and hard place. But he had faith in a condom. Somehow, that always made it all right. They were scooted in the bathroom before he knew it and she had the shower on. As it warmed up, she unbuckled his belt. Then his jeans. Casey reached for the condom on the shelf in the medicine cabinet.

"What is that far?" She took it away from him.

"You know." He gave her a more nervous smile than before.

"But we want to have kids." She pursed her lips. "I've got like the best insurance ever. Now."

"Oh..of course. Your job." His thick lashes slight fluttered.

"No, you have the school insurance. Blue Cross and Blue Shield. I want us to have a baby. I'm ready." She tossed the foiled wrapper behind her and tugged at his face to give him a deep kiss.

Casey winced hard. He wanted to be so wrong about this. He really did. After all, she was pretty good at this sort of thing.
