"I really never knew her." Spencer sighed, speaking of Sarah, as he dried another dish while Ali washed up. She'd gotten him home, away from the hospital for a few hours. She was helping tidy the place up. Ali guessed bringing up Sarah wasn't the best ideas.
"I still don't know hows she did it. Swindle money out of the bank like that. Its gone you know. Its like it disappeared." Ali couldn't imagine having so much money.
"Maybe she didn't do it. They should find who ever that account belonged to. It shouldn't be her fault." Spencer shook his head.
"But it is. She's like this con-artist, you see?" Ali saw it clearly now. She got what was coming to her, as far as she could see. Beautiful too. Ali hated her all the more, just thinking Sarah was perfect. Thankfully, she wasn't.
"Don't say that, you don't even know her, Ali?" Spencer glared at her, who had had enough of washing dishes. She felt as if she was being used, even now. She didn't have to help him. But she did feel sad for Gage.
"Neither do you, Spence." Ali scowled then.
"I just can't help but think she'd be...so..." He shook his head. "She helped us get the band started. She found us gigs, you know, and she was really helpful. Sincere too."
Ali squinted more. It was all an act, she felt. That Sarah was a very good actress. Besides, Ali was here now and she spoke up for the band anytime she could on the air. She even sneaked their songs on the air waves. She was doing more for the Freaknoids than either Sarah or Lucy.
