"Your friends are now my friends." Nina informed Casey. "We're going to the hospital."
He was shocked. He'd rather tune in, to the TV. First thing he saw was the news segment with the house fire. He knew that house. He never really had been in it, but he knew who lived there. It was Lucy's house.
"Huh." Casey stood there in front of the chunky TV in the livingroom.
"What's the matter?" She was looking for a jacket in the closet. It had turned off cool. It didn't feel like summer at all. Just a cold spring still.
"Lucy's house burned down." Probably a meth lab there, for all he knew. She lived with Todd now. The place probably needed to burn down, thought Casey.
"You don't even know my friends." Casey mentioned as they were going out the door. He locked up.
"I did interview them." She reminded him.
"Yes, and you said they were all gay." He glared at her.
"Well, some of them are." She rolled her eyes. "What's your point?" They got in the car.
"Its just..you..you're snooty." He told her. It was the truth. He couldn't lie.
"What?" Nina glared at him, hugging herself tightly as he jetted off in their little car. He kept his eyes on the road. This was no time to start a fight.
"You know me better than that." She snapped. "You're crazy about me."
"No, I think its you're crazy about me." He smirked then. He knew she didn't have any friends. Not real friends. And now she wanted his friends.
Nina's lips twitched, but she kept quiet. He couldn't help but edge a smile. Maybe they didn't know each other at all, but then maybe they did and neither wanted to be that person.

Nina might actually know more going on with Casey than he knows.
Nina is something.
Nina is quite the piece of work. :/
Oh, I'm hoping Nina really loves him.
Hmm, I hope Nina isn't up to anything
It looks like things are starting to get rough.
