just a reminder

"Are you sure things are fine?" Declan wanted to know after Cory left Allie. Cory seemed a bit tired to Declan. It was like he couldn't stick around anymore than thirty minutes with her. He was off to get something to eat. "I thought you wanted to leave him."

Declan remembered. She'd talked about Cory to him. How maybe it might be best if she moved on. Maybe let Manny take care of their daughter, but now there was another one. Still, how could she stay with Cory if she was unhappy?

"Lets not talk about it." She looked sleepy, but he'd gotten her fresh water from the nurses station, and he'd sneaked in a burger from her favorite place and fries too. Of course, she was ravished.

"Its a miracle, you know." Declan watched her devour the burger. "Good thing, Craig was there."

"Craig." She squinted hard as if she'd soon forget. She lost her appetite then and pushed half eaten burger away. "I didn't want him to see me, like that." She looked disgusted with herself.

"Are you, kidding, he really is quite happy with himself. You made his day." Declan grinned.

Allie bit her bottom lip in thought. He wouldn't dare ask what was on her mind.

"What's the baby's name?" Declan asked.

"Cory wants to name him, Bo." Allie looked at Declan then.

"Bo? Just Bo? Why not Craig? You should name him." Declan told her. Bo just wasn't enough of a name, as far as Declan was concerned.

"I'm fine with Bo." She looked at Declan straight lipped as if she didn't want him bothering about this anymore.

"Its settled, just like that?" Declan hugged himself. Declan felt more sad than ever now. He knew he'd never have a chance to name a child.
