some days are like this

Todd was in makeup and a very RuPaul wig when he picked up Craig. He did look a little weird. A woman's head attached to a everything else boyish. Todd was in a Tee shirt and jeans and his black Converses. He looked a fourth of the part.

"OK, this is new," Craig said when he opened the door and got in the car.

"You caught me ..at a bad time." Todd fluttered his thick eyelashes that almost fell off. It was kind of hard to drive in them, but he was determined to get Craig where he wanted to go.

"What's going on?" Craig looked at Todd as if he'd had a major personality problem.

"Its no big deal." He shrugged. "Lucy was just messing around." He sighed then.

"Obviously." Craig did his best not to crack up.

"Somebody asked me if ...if I would come in drag. You know, to perform the wedding." Todd told him as he drove.

Craig nodded.

"Its no big deal." Todd winced as his eyelash stuck on his left eye. He ripped it off.

"Lucy, used to.." Todd wasn't sure how to explain. "We've played dress up before. Usually, just at parties. It was a long time ago. But she never had a problem with it."

"I'm glad she doesn't have a problem with it." Craig shrugged.

"Its just, this new THING." Todd winced. "I don't really have time to actually run the salon, anymore."

Craig nodded. "Maybe Jess can help." He shrugged.

"Really? She's a hairdresser?" Todd looked at Craig as if he should have told him before.

"I think so. But at the moment, she might be laid up for a while. Still she definitely needs to find some new kind of employment." Craig told him.

"What about you? When are you going to get a decent job?" Todd was serious as he could be in his drag queen make up.

Craig just grinned. "I could ask you the same thing."
