"Not a problem." Spencer did his best to stay positive. There was still Jake's crib off in little room that used to be his grandmother's sewing room, a long time ago. Luckily, Manny's daughter had gone back to Cory and Allie's. They'd work it out. Make it more grade school friendly. There was a twin bed in the basement.
Manny was changing the room around. Em was looking for sheets and pillows.
"You, really look tired, Craig." Spencer reminded him there was the bed waiting. Craig looked as if he might be sleep walking, but he was holding on to the brown bag of burgers. "Have you even eaten?"
"I'm not that hungry." He said with a yawn as he gave them to Spencer to do something with them. He was practically in shut down mode, but he was doing his best to be alert.
Cam took a look around the kitchen, but found the couch for refuge and was tuned into toons on the TV, even his Mom tried her best to put her arm around him. He looked a little afraid.
"Go on, go to sleep." Spencer got behind Craig as if he might have to push him down the hall.
"I should really shower, though." He said ever so sleepily. "I can't remember when the last time I took a shower.
"I think you should just sleep." Spencer told him.
"Really?" He sighed.
"Uh-huh." Spencer helped him with his coat while Craig was telling him about some apartments near the school. "Maybe, that would be a good place."
"Just don't worry about it, right now." Spencer at least got him to sit on the bed. He pulled off his heavy workboots.
Craig nodded. "What about..Jess?" He barely said.
"She's on the couch, with Cam." Spencer told him.
"But.." He sounded as if he'd been defeated. If this was not the way it should be. "She's suppose to be here."
"She will. Probably when you get up to go to work." Spencer checked his watch. He just didn't know if Craig would be ready to function in four hours.
