"Are you sure those two are really, OK?" Craig hoped Todd would shed some in sight on Sarah and Ezra.

She was sick when he brought Jake home after the 4th. For a moment Craig thought maybe they might think of letting him keep Jake for a few days. So they'd have some time to recover from all the celebrating.

Jess wouldn't have mind. They got along great. Even Cameron warmed up to him.

"Yeah, of course, they are." Todd winced in thought as he turned another burger on the grill. He'd invited them over to dinner. Jess was with Lucy getting the fixings ready for the summer time meal.

Craig nodded as he watched with a lite beer in hand.

"Ezra looked out of sorts. Like maybe he should be the one sleeping instead of Sarah. He looked exhausted." Craig scratched the back of his head, thinking he should have stayed longer. He reached for his cell, thinking he should call. See if Ezra was OK with Jake.

"Look, um..I dunno if ..you know..or not." Todd drew a breath. "But..but Ezra doesn't have a driver's license. Well, he does, but..but uh..anyway, I just didn't think he drove. At all."

"What are you getting at?" Craig looked at his younger brother seriously.

"I guess he does drive." Todd shrugged. "You know, about his epilepsy, don't you?"

Craig rolled the word over in his head.

"So?" He knew people who drove if they were on their meds.

"The point is, he's not even on medication." Todd sipped his long neck beer.

"And..and you're just now getting around to telling me this?" Suddenly, Craig felt so uneasy. He'd trusted Ezra with his son. He shook his head. He didn't like this one bit.
