Craig wasn't even sure he could see straight, lately. He was furious with Sarah and Ezra. How could they be so neglectful? He thought Ezra was perfect. Now that he knew a disaster was waiting to happen, he wanted to fight them. He wanted full custody of Jake.
"Slow down. You, can't be serious." Jess finally got him to talk. As it was he was giving everyone the silent treatment at home. He didn't want to know anything about that new dog.
He sat there on the bed, festered and stoic.
"It would be so hard on Jake. That's his home. And, we don't exactly have a home yet, you know." She reminded him as she rubbed his shoulders. This was just temporary housing.
Craig sighed heavily.
"Just talk it out. Maybe with just Ezra. Let him know, how you feel." She told him it would only be stoking a fire if he got into it with Sarah. "Remember, she hates you, pretty much."
He gritted more and gave her a solemn look.
Craig's eyes burned with tears. He really didn't want to be the bad guy, but he might have to be.
