"Oh, Cam..." It sadden Jess to watch her young son with the dog. She winced when she heard him say that he and Connor had already named him Shaggy.
"He's not your dog." Jess hated to be the barrier of bad news as she placed her hands on her hip and became the mother that she instantly could be.
Of course, Cam helped Connor bath the pooch and now he smelled like something from the tropics. According, to Cameron. But then what did the tropics exactly smell like?
"That's what it says on the bottle, Mom." Cam informed her as he wanted her to take another smell of Shaggy.
"Well, at least, you can read." She stared at him without sympathy. She'd already blow dried that dog's white coat.
She went on to the kitchen in her flip-flops. This would not end well. He would be crying like a baby if this did not work out.
"Spencer's looking for flyers..around town." Connor came out of the bathroom with wet towels. He'd been left to clean up while Cam cuddle the dog.
"What you, should be doing is putting out flyers." Jess insisted.
"Well..." Connor winced. "If no one is looking for him.." He shrugged as if he didn't want to hear the downfall of any of this.
Jess glared at him as if it would be totally wrong. Just wrong.
"Sage had never seen him before." Connor was just as serious.
"Maybe she should see him now. He's not filthy." Jess fumed just a little, but as she looked over at Cam. Honestly, she hadn't seen him this happy in a long time.
